Stutter Edit 2
Real-time Rhythmic Performance Software
We were engaged by BT to develop Stutter Edit 2 in collaboration with iZotope.
In the process, we took apart the original Stutter Edit engine and reassembled it in a completely new form, with expanded sonic capabilities and a fresh, modern UI, reminiscent of the original.
Features include:
Audio effects
Working closely with BT, we developed new sonic variants to classic digital effects, such as: Comb Filter, Flanger, Phaser, Chorus, Tape Stop, Distortion and Reverb.
Tempo-synced parameter modulation
Almost every parameter in the audio engine can be modulated at audio/buffer rate and synced to host tempo.
UI/UX design and implementation
Using Figma, we completely redesigned the user interface by iterating from initial concept, to wireframe and finally high fidelity graphics.
VST, VST3, AU, AAX support
Leveraging JUCE wrappers, the audio engine is built for VST, VST3, AU and AAX, running on both Windows and macOS.
